Shurmur is expected to take the reigns as the next head coach of the New York Giants, which would leave a hole at offensive coordinator for Minnesota.

Minnesota is expected to consider former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo and former Los Angeles Chargers head coach  Mike McCoy, who was recently fired from his post as offensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos, for their soon-to-be vacant offensive coordinator position, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

McAdoo is also under consideration for the offensive coordinator gig with the Cleveland Browns.
