The Kansas City Chiefs have activated safety Daniel Sorensen from the injured reserve list, according to an official team announcement.
In a corresponding move, the chiefs waived veteran linebacker Nate Orchard, and the roster space created by his release will be the roster space for Sorensen, who has missed time due to a tibial plateau fracture and MCL damage.
Texans Sign Darren Fells
Fells, 32, was cut by the Cleveland Browns earlier this month after the team failed to find a trade.
Fells, who inked a three-year, $12 million deal with the Browns last year, managed only 11 receptions in his only season in Cleveland.
Chiefs Sign Bashaud Breeland
Breeland played in just seven games for the Green Bay Packers last season, but was very production when he was on the field, hauling in 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery in 2018.
Jets Sign Tom Compton
The New York Jets have signed veteran guard Tom Compton to a one-year deal, according to the New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta.
Compton provides vast experience, with over 30 starts over his 7 seasons in the league, and started 14 games for the Minnesota Vikings last season, playing at left guard, right guard, and right tackle.
