Giants to Activate RJ McIntosh

The New York Giants have activated defensive end R.J. McIntosh from the non-football injury list and he will provide some much needed depth along the Giants defensive line, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

McIntosh first landed on the non-football injury list back in September when New York was hoping to be in contention for a NFC playoff spot, but with the team tanking and recently trading a number of players, McIntosh will likely get some playing time so he can show the team what he is capable of.

McIntosh is a fifth-round draft pick out of Miami.

Giants Re-Sign Cody Latimer

The New York Giants are re-signing wide receiver Cody Latimer, according to an Instagram post from Latimer.

Latimer is in line for a more prominent role as the Giants parted with superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. last week in a trade with the Cleveland Browns.

Latimer will have to first make the Giants roster, and it may be a tall task given his lack of production throughout his career thus far.

Browns Acquire Odell Beckham Jr.

The Cleveland Browns have acquired New York Giants megastar wide receiver Odell Beckham in a trade that shocked the NFL on Tuesday night, according to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo.

The Giants will receive the Browns 2019 1st round pick, 2019 3rd round pick, and safety Jabrill Peppers in return for Beckham.

The Giants had signed Beckham to a five-year, $95 million contract last summer and will now eat $16 million in dead money by trading him.

Beckham caught 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns for the Giants last season.

Odell Beckham Jr. Is Heading To Cleveland

On March 12, 2019, superstar wide-receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been traded to the Cleveland Browns. Odell Beckham Jr. was traded to Cleveland for a first–round pick, a third-round pick and S Jabril Peppers. The former New York Giant made his mark in the league after making “the catch” in 2014 against the Dallis Cowboys. Beckham became a breakout star after his rookie season.

Fans and analysts are still shocked by the breaking news. Dave Gettleman’s decision to trade Odell Beckham Jr. hit fans differently especially since it was said “we didn’t sign Odell to trade him”. This was also shocking after Beckhman signed a $95 million contract with $65 million guaranteed in August of 2018. This news broke the hearts of New York Giant fans, however brought joy to the city of Cleveland.
