The Green Bay Packers are bracing for news that tight end Jimmy Graham may be out of action for some time due to what they believe is a broken thumb suffered during Thurday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Graham, who signed a three-year, $30 million contract with Green Bay during the offseason, will undergo further testing on Friday. There is a possibility that Graham could play through the injury moving forward.

According to NFL Network insider Michael Silver, the Packers feared Graham suffered a “serious” thumb issue during the game.

Graham has caught 34 passes for 452 yards and two touchdowns this season.
