The Washington Redskins have signed defensive end Marcus Smith, who is a former first round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles, and should be available when Washington takes on the New York Giants this Sunday.
Smith was an afterthought during his first 3 seasons with the Eagles, and during his stint with the Seattle Seahawks, and despite working out for the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets back in November, has drawn very little interest on the free agent market, prior to signing with Washington.

The report goes on tho speculate that the new deal for Mahomes could be the NFL’s first $200 million deal.

Rams to Discuss Contract Extension With Sean McVay
The Los Angeles Rams, who are headed to a Super Bowl showdown with the New England Patriots, are planning to work out a new contract with head coach Sean McVay, according to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora.
McVay, 32, could be headed for a deal that could come close to that of the higher tier coaches in the NFL, such as Jon Gruden, especially if he can bring home a Lombardi Trophy to Los Angeles.
