However, Brown’s antics may be pushing teams away, and while there is mutual interest in seeing Brown land in San Francisco, the 49ers may end up trading for another superstar wide receiver in the end.
Per the report:
“As the season ended, a sense emerged that the 49ers could renew the pursuit of Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. A month and a half later, that sense persists. The 49ers have had real interest in Beckham for nearly a year; the only question is whether the Giants are willing to pull the trigger. As reflected by last week’s bold offseason prediction from Jay Glazer, the Giants may indeed be ready to do so. The 49ers hold the second and 36th overall picks in the 2019 draft; the No. 2 overall selection would seemingly be a high price to pay, possibly requiring the Giants to send maybe a third- or fourth-round pick back to the 49ers to balance it all out.”

Giants Acquire Leonard Williams
The Giants will land Williams, 25, in exchange for a 2020 third-round pick and a 2021 fifth-round draft pick, with the chance that the fifth-rounder could elevate to a fourth-round pick is Williams inks a contract with the Giants.
Additionally, the Jets are paying $4 million of the $6 million that Williams is owed for the rest of the 2019 season.
Giants’ Ryan Connelly Tears ACL
New York Giants’ rookie linebacker Ryan Connelly has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, according to an official team announcement.
Connelly left during the fourth quarter of the Giants win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, and Connelly seemed to know that it was a serious injury.
“It does not feel good,” Connelly said after the game. “I’m hoping it’s nothing is what I can say.”
