On March 12, 2019, superstar wide-receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been traded to the Cleveland Browns. Odell Beckham Jr. was traded to Cleveland for a first–round pick, a third-round pick and S Jabril Peppers. The former New York Giant made his mark in the league after making “the catch” in 2014 against the Dallis Cowboys. Beckham became a breakout star after his rookie season.
Fans and analysts are still shocked by the breaking news. Dave Gettleman’s decision to trade Odell Beckham Jr. hit fans differently especially since it was said “we didn’t sign Odell to trade him”. This was also shocking after Beckhman signed a $95 million contract with $65 million guaranteed in August of 2018. This news broke the hearts of New York Giant fans, however brought joy to the city of Cleveland.
Browns’ David Njoku Suffers Broken Wrist
Njoku is currently seeking medical opinions on his injured wrist and surgery is not out of the question at this time.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Njoku suffered a broken wrist and will miss at least a month.
Browns Waive Rico Gathers
Gathers, who was suspended for the first game of the season, was picked up off of waivers from the Dallas Cowboys over the summer.
Gathers appeared in 15 games, including 4 starts, for the Cowboys last season catching 3 passes for 45 yards.
