Jets’ Quincy Enunwa Out For Season

The New York Jets will be without wide receiver Quincy Enunwa for the remainder of the season due to a neck injury, according to the New York Post’s Brian Costello.

Unfortunately, this could mark the end of Enunwa’s career, given his history with neck issues.

Enunwa, 27, had to miss the entire 2017 season due to a neck injury, and this is not a good sign that he will be able to return to the field again.

Enunwa signed a four-year, $36 million contract extension with the Jets back in December.

Colts Release Spencer Ware

The Indianapolis Colts have released veteran running back Spencer Ware, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Ware was previously placed on injured reserve after he tore a ligament in his knee this offseason, leading the Colts to place him on the PUP list, something that Ware did not like.

Prior reports indicated that the Colts and Ware were working towards an injury settlement, and that may be the case here.

Chiefs Damien Williams Ruled Out

Kansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams has been officially ruled out for Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Williams suffered a knee injury during Week 2’s game against the Oakland Raiders.

The Chiefs will lean more on LeSean McCoy as William misses time with the injury.

Dolphins Claim Taco Charlton

The Miami Dolphins have claimed pass rusher Taco Charlton off of waivers from the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Charlton, who was released by the Cowboys this week, will now be eligible to suit up to play his former team as the Dolphins take on Dallas this weekend.

Charlton was a bust in Dallas, who selected him with a first round draft pick, and managed only 4 sacks during his injury-riddled stint with the Cowboys.
