Packers’ Davante Adams Day-to-Day

Published

Green Bay Packers’ veteran wide receiver Devante Adams is dealing with a turf toe injury that is currently keeping him listed day-to-day, but it is unclear just how much time Adams could miss.

“We’re just really trying to pace it at this point,” Adams said, according to the Journal Sentinel’s Jim Owczarski. “I can’t really tell you when I’m going to play. It doesn’t feel how I want it to feel at the moment, but we definitely have time, so we’ll just kind of play this thing (out), and I know Mr. (Matt) LaFleur will definitely be able to take care of any other questions regarding that.”

It has raised concerns that Adams is calling it a “major injury”, but when it comes to providing any more details, Adams is being mum.

“There’s things I can do, but we’ll keep a lot of that in house right now,” Adams said. “I can move around on it, but me moving around on it and feeling like it’s feeling better that day or not in pain just sitting there is a lot different than having to break tackles and cut and release and things like that.”

Packers Waive Michael Roberts

Micheal Roberts

The saga of tight end Michael Roberts continues to take disappointing turns, as he has been waived by the Green Bay Packers only a few days after they claimed him on waivers, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

The Packers waived Roberts due to a failed physical, which also nixed his trade from the Detroit Lions to the New England Patriots earlier this month.

Green Bay picked up Roberts after he was reverted back to the Lions’ roster and ultimately waived.

Roberts, 25, has 13 career receptions for 146 yards.
