Trent Williams

The Washington Redskins will be officially open for business as the trade deadline looms, and will be willing to part with two veteran players.

According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, the Redskins have actively shopped cornerback Josh Norman, calling teams to gauge their interest in the defensive back.

It may be hard to find a taker, as Norman is due around $6 million for the rest of the season and has been hit with a slew of injuries, causing him to miss Week 7.

Additionally, Norman has shown a steep decline in his play, per Pro Football Focus metrics.

Following a refusal to do so, the Redskins are now open to trading veteran left tackle Trent Williams, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

For those looking to land Williams, they will have to pay a hefty price tag of a first-round draft pick, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.
