New England Patriots tackle Isaiah Wynn made his return to practice on Wednesday, and is now designated to return from the injured reserve list.
Wynn took the second allotted injured reserve/designated to return spot for the Patriots, which indicates that the team is officially moving on from wide receiver Josh Gordon, who could be released soon.
Wynn has been out since Week 2 due to a turf toe injury that immediately landed him on IR.
Bengals Place Dre Kirkpatrick on IR
The Cincinnati Bengals have placed veteran cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick on the injured reserve, according to an official team announcement.
Kirkpatrick, 30, suffered a season ending knee injury after posting 33 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery for the Bengals over six games this season.
In corresponding moves, the Bengals promoted linebacker Hardy Nickerson and wide receiver Damion Willis to the active roster.
Browns’ Myles Garrett Suspended Indefinitely
Cleveland Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett has been suspended indefinitely for his actions in a fight that broke out at the end of Thursday night’s game between the Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Garrett will be banned for the remainder of the 2018 season, and is likely going to be hit with a stiffer punishment once the NFL completes it’s investigation into the incident. Garrett could also be facing legal action from the attorney’s of Steelers’ quarterback Mason Rudolph.
Garrett, 23, has notched 10 sacks for the Browns this season.
Browns’ Morgan Burnett Could Miss Season
Cleveland Browns’ veteran safety Morgan Burnett could miss the rest of the season after he apparently suffered a torn Achilles during Thursday night’s tilt against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
While Burnett is set to undergo an MRI on Friday, it is expected that he will be ruled out for the rest of the season.
Burnett has notched 41 tackles, two sacks, and and interception this season for the Browns.
